Prior to founding his own practice in 2010, he spent a decade at the esteemed Law Office of Carl E. Douglas in Beverly Hills, where he litigated high-profile civil rights and wrongful death cases, including multimillion-dollar jury trials. He also served as a legal intern in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, gaining early trial experience that continues to inform his direct and effective litigation style.

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Austin is a dedicated civic and youth advocate. He served as president of the Miracle Mile Optimist Club and as a long-standing board member of Optimist Youth and Family Home Services, supporting mentorship and stability for at-risk youth. Mr. Austin is a graduate of Loyola Law School and a certified trial attorney through the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
